| NORTHERN REGIONS |
| NORTH POLE (2 sub-boards)
The seemingly endless expanse of frozen tundra and ocean is not as lifeless as some may believe. But be sure to bundle up before attempting any adventures, more than one hunter has been overcome by exposure.

| TAKU MOUNTAIN RANGE (1 sub-board)
In the far north of the Earth Kingdom is a wide area of steep mountains. A few empty villages are nothing but burnt out shells now, reclaimed by the thick foliage that covers the better part of the mountains.

| MAKAPU
On the slopes of an active volcano is a small farming village. Though the fear of an eruption looms overhead the fertile soil is to profitable to pass up. Also famed is the fortune teller who can plot out your entire life.

Small and sturdy, the close-knit town of woodsmen supply the surrounding area with fine timber. Not far away is a wide river kept back by a thick wall of wood and rock.

| GREAT DIVIDE
Largest and deepest in the world, the Great Divide requires an expert guide to traverse. No food is allowed once you go down, as large omnivores insects creep around every corner.

| PEARL LAKE (1 sub-board)
A peaceful sounding name for a very dangerous lake. Fire Nation ships make frequent passes and a dangerous serpent cruises the depths. Of course if these perils don't make you blink the water is calm and warm and the shore is nothing but smooth rock.

| BA SING SE (4 sub-boards)
Capital of the Earth Kingdom and stronghold against the war, this is the richest city in the world. Everything from it's transportation to farms are highly organized and controlled by the government, which work to keep the city closed from outside influences.

| SI WONG DESERT
Driest and hottest place for miles, even the sandbenders have a hard time surviving out here. One large mass of rock is the only thing above the sand, home to the nasty buzzard-wasps. At night temperatures become tolerable even if the sand is still steaming.

| CHAMELEON BAY
A small body of water surrounded by pale sands and high walls of forest-topped mountain. Fed from one main river it that leads to the outskirts of Ba Sing Se, it offers a protected way out to open water.

| EASTERN AIR TEMPLE
Raised up from the thick clouds and forested hills are the Easter Air Temples. Three main mountains layered with numerous buildings, with many looming sculptures of past masters, and the bison stables now stand empty.

| WESTERN REGIONS |
| NEW OZAI
Formed on a number of hills and surrounded by a deep ravine, the city previously known as Omashu is in Fire Nation hands now. Black smoke billows from the newly constructed factories that turn out supplies for the war effort.

| KOLAU
Precariously balanced on piles close to the edge of a waterfall over a wide river the lavish spa town caters to a visitors every need. Connected to land by two wooden bridges, travelers who stop by are wrapped in luxury at an affordable price.

| GAOLING
Nestled within a steep valley, this is a very peaceful town that enjoys a lavish lifestyle. A wide variety of businesses for shopping and a 'secret' underground wrestling match are popular distractions for the people.

| FOGGY SWAMP
Thick trees with entangled branches makes it difficult to enter, and even harder to leave. Most of the light is blocked out so that the ground is a misty grey expanse of roots and muddy water.

| OPEN OCEAN (1 sub-board)
For miles there is nothing but open water separating the Fire Nation from the Earth Kingdom, with many boats trolling around between. Storms tend to blow in from nowhere so a sturdy pair of sea legs are important.

| FARTHEST ISLANDS (4 sub-boards)
The smallest and farthest islands the Fire Nation controls. For better or worse the citizens on these lands have been nearly forgotten by the highest members of the nations society.

Largest cluster of islands that make up the Fire Nation, it is protected by the Great Gates of Azulon. Upon any real threat great ropes are raised and ignited to keep approaching enemy ships away.

| SOUTHERN REGIONS |
| KYOSHI ISLAND
Once a part of the mainland, Kyoshi Island is now the farthest southern point of the Earth Kingdom. Serving as a succesful fishing village and tribute to Avatar Kyoshi. A group of young warrior girls honor her memory and protect the scattered villages.

| WHALE TAIL ISLAND
Lore says that it is the tail of the largest whale, hence why no others can be found, it is actually claimed Fire Nation territory. A small village and outpost for the occasional Southern Tribe raid, many of the inhabitants are retired soldiers.

| PATOLA MOUNTAINS (1 sub-board)
Steep and angular mountains make for treacherous climbing. However a large amount of fruit trees thrive with juicy pieces if they are reached.

The southern most tip of the world is not very well known, with many only hearing of the lonely pole by name. With lots of snowfall year round there is little opportunity for trade.
